About T.H. Chua

T.H. Chua is a career coach specializing in career advancement, intercultural understanding and professional growth. He is a seasoned supply chain and data analytics professional with a proven track record in driving operational excellence and strategic transformations across global organizations. His extensive international experience includes living and working in Hong Kong, Switzerland, Canada, USA and Taiwan, and traveling to nearly 40 countries, providing invaluable intercultural insights.

T.H. is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentialed by the International Coaching Federation, signifying adherence to high professional standards. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay. Academically, he holds a Masters in Management Analytics from Queen’s University and a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from McGill University. He is a guest speaker and volunteers for a university's supply chain program advisory council.

The Puffin

My journey into coaching is inspired by a surprising muse: the puffin. The more I learned about these birds, the more I saw my own coaching philosophy reflected in their unique traits.

First, the puffin’s name, "little brother of the north," resonated with me. Living in the northern oceans, they're tied to a true north. This became the first pillar of my coaching: guiding you toward your true north. In a noisy world, it's easy to get lost. A coach, like a puffin, helps you navigate back to your core purpose and values.

Next, their beaks glow vibrantly during mating season. This beautiful, hidden quality represents my second pillar: to embrace your uniqueness. Everyone has an inner radiance that, when nurtured, can shine brightly. My role is to help you uncover this unique brilliance and be authentically yourself.

Finally, puffins are masters of adaptability, gracefully "flying" underwater like a mix of bird and fish. This agility is the final pillar of my coaching: to help you win over yourself by adapting and pivoting in a challenging world. With a clear mindset and confidence, you can thrive in any environment.

The puffin symbolizes direction, radiance, and resilience—the very qualities I hope to inspire in everyone I coach.
